It is not silver colored or silver-filled wire. The bale is triple looped. The bale opening is 6mm and will fit most bulky chains/cords. Argentium silver is a metallic white/silver color. The tumbled and polished turritella fossil agate is black with white shell fossil parts. This particular turritella is from Wyoming. The colors may vary according your device screen. Additional information on Argentium silver: Argentium Silver was invented by Master Silversmith, Peter Johns at Middlesex University, London. His initial research concentrated on eliminating firestain in traditional Sterling silver, using the element Germanium.
