This handmade Argentium Silver wire string twist wrapped brown tiger's eye quartz beaded pendant is lovely! The wire is Argentium Silver, not silver colored wire. It is an 18 gauge twisted wire string with a single looped bale on each end. The bale opening is 4mm and will fit most finer thickness chains/cords. Each pendant comes with a cotton cord that is approximately 30 inches long. It can be cut or knotted for length adjustments. The tumbled and polished beads are brown and opaque. The colors may vary according your device screen, but they are pretty brightly colored and shimmery brown. The overall width of the pendant is 66mm at the widest point including the bales. Additional information on Argentium silver: Argentium Silver was invented by Master Silversmith, Peter Johns at Middlesex University, London. His initial research concentrated on eliminating firestain in traditional Sterling silver, using the element Germanium. Germanium was also found to add further benefits, including tarnish resistance and heat-hardening properties. Argentium is a sterling silver alloy that is 1% purer than traditional sterling at 93.5%. (Traditional sterling is 92.5% pure.)
