This handmade steampunk pin is awesome! It is made from a watch movement from a broken watch. The movement is mostly stainless steel. The silver tone starfish with clear crystals is piece that came from a broken pair of Coach flip flops. The starfish has been secured through the watch movement. The pin back has been soldered on. These pins were inspired by the toys we used to get as kids in gumball/toy machines. Hence, the name Gumball Machine Project. The pins from this project are whimsical, yet far better made than their lightweight vintage counterparts! The overall width of the pendant is 35mm at the widest point.
